Short Bio

Jeremy Zeller is a Kentucky-based artist, songwriter, and storyteller whose work lives at the intersection of faith, suffering, and redemption. His music, often described as "Grunge Gospel," draws from a life of loss, recovery, spiritual awakening, and the hard earned hope found on the other side of despair. Zeller uses songs and stories to reach people navigating addiction, mental health struggles, autism, and spiritual disconnection. His work isn’t about performance as much as presence, creating spaces where honesty and healing are allowed to coexist. Everything created is an invitation to rediscover love for God, for others, and for yourself.

Long Bio

Jeremy Zeller is an award-winning Kentucky musician, songwriter, and multidisciplinary artist whose work blends raw grunge-influenced roots music with deeply personal storytelling and faith-centered reflection. A multiple-time recipient of honors from the Lexington Music Awards—including Male Vocalist of the Year, Americana/Folk Act of the Year, Singer/Songwriter of the Year, and Song of the Year—Zeller has become known for creating emotionally immersive live experiences that leave audiences both challenged and restored.

After decades of personal struggle, including addiction, loss, divorce, and a late-in-life autism diagnosis, Zeller’s life and art were radically reshaped by a renewed encounter with God. What emerged is music and art that is rooted in honesty, redemption, and the belief that healing begins when truth is spoken out loud. His songs don’t shy away from darkness but instead illuminate it with grace, vulnerability, and hope.

Beyond the stage, Zeller is deeply involved in work with recovery communities, mental health advocacy, veterans, and autism awareness initiatives, including his leadership and participation in A Day At The Park, an annual event centered on connection and compassion. Whether performing solo, with his band Jeremy Zeller and The Otherside, or sharing his testimony in churches and community spaces, his mission remains the same: to break down the barriers that keep us from loving ourselves, each other, and God. Through music, art, and story, Zeller offers a living testament that redemption is real… and available to all.

a peak into my purpose...

Hello,

My name is Jeremy Zeller.

I died years ago. In the floor of my kitchen. A broken heart, I suppose.

It could have been a seizure… it could have been a heart attack… but

it literally knocked me out cold.

I’m not sure how long I was out… It seemed like an eternity.

I know that I had stopped breathing, because I remember a tremendous inhale when my eyes

came open. And the breath was painful entering back in my body.

I was home alone and woke up in the floor with my face in my hands saying, “Thank you, Jesus”

over and over.

I’m not sure exactly what happened… no drugs… nothing crazy happening around me. One

moment, I was standing and praying. The next moment, I’m waking up on the floor. I just know

it was the realest experience I’ve ever had in regards to my relationship with God.

By His grace, I have been given another chance. A chance to take everything that I learned

through my death, and apply it as a source of life.

My music is the realization of that.

Each song a dialogue between myself, the listener and God.  Every line taken from journal entries,

therapy sessions and moments of silent reflection over the course of an intense healing journey.

I believe music is a universal language given to us by God. A language used to connect

people’s emotional journeys and heighten the awareness of a story.

My story has afforded me the opportunities to walk the line between moments of heaven on

earth and moments of hell on earth. Through my own individual experiences or by walking

along side communities that bare each others burdens and celebrate each others

achievements. A pastor for two decades, a first responder, a counselor, an artist, a humanitarian,

and any other job I could find to maintain a life and family as a minister and an artist.

I have dedicated my entire life to following under the teachings of Jesus. Granted, I’ve certainly

spent my time out of the fold. But my heart has been His since I was a child.

After years of being on my own journey of healing, I was officially diagnosed with autism.

To say it has changed my life is an understatement. Through years of therapy, counseling, doctors

visits, specialists, and the experiences of hundreds of others impacted by autism, I now use

my own personal story to advocate for others that can’t communicate their own experiences.

My passion is to share those experiences through music, songwriting, storytelling, and art...

Experiences of growing up autistic and not knowing it, of addiction and recovery, sexual assault,

navigating a healthy blended family. Stories of growing up in the church, religious trauma,

and the dangers of staying “silent” while others are dying.

Over the last several years, my art has morphed and bent itself into shape in such a way that I have

now been able to share my story with thousands of people. One on one… from coast to coast

and many places in between, I have spent the last 5 years putting a bow on the experiences over the

course of my life that have lead me here.

I now travel, sharing my stories through singing, songwriting, and storytelling. The church pew

would say “Testify!”, while the bar stool agrees with a “Here, here!”

We all share this human experience in such a way that we can actually help each other through

some really chaotic times by simply saying “Yeah, me, too.” And then just listening.

My songs and my art are an invitation to do just that.

I want people to leave a show and have that one line of that one song… melody and all…

blossom into a beautiful picture of hope, and, ultimately, belief. Belief that there is a better

version of themself available from within.

That God is found when we are seen for who we are and know we are loved.

It’s a grimy message. Because in order to feel it and understand it, we must dredge through

the shadows and the dirt to find the light. But it’s there. That is the space in which I love to

create.

My hope is that my music might start a conversation that leads to healing.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Jeremy Zeller Announces New Album, The Soundtrack For Healing
Out January 1, 2026

Lawrenceburg, KY — On January 1, 2026, singer-songwriter Jeremy Zeller released The Soundtrack For Healing, a deeply personal, seven-chapter album that chronicles a journey from brokenness to redemption. Part memoir, part prayer, and part sonic meditation, the project tells the story of God’s goodness unfolding in one life: raw, honest, and alive with hope.

The Soundtrack For Healing is the life story of Jeremy Zeller told through journal entries put to melody and therapy sessions transformed into song. It is the sound of revelation breaking into a dead man’s life. Across seven interconnected chapters, the album invites listeners to walk a path of self-discovery that begins at the bottom of the barrel and rises into the presence of God that is alive in the bones: the Kingdom of Heaven Jesus spoke of, here and now.

Conceived as a single, cohesive art piece, the album unfolds as seven distinct installations, unified by a consistent sonic palette. Every sound plays its role in a carefully woven symphony of emotion, intention, and story. The result is an immersive listening experience designed to be taken in from beginning to end.

The visual world surrounding The Soundtrack For Healing extends that same intention. Every word featured in the accompanying visuals was digitized directly from Zeller’s own handwritten journals, translated from notebook to screen. The footage, drawn from striking public-domain imagery, reflects a love of science and nature and is edited together with light and color to tell a story of hope.

“This project is an invitation,” says Zeller. “To sit back, relax, create space, and reflect. My hope is that as listeners enter my world for a moment, they’ll find pieces of their own story there too.”

The album was recorded in its entirety at Mill Springs Studio in Nancy, Kentucky. Zeller extends special thanks to producer and engineer Danny Micoff for his creative partnership and for helping bring the project to life.
